Is Network Marketing a good fit for Real Estate?

Connect Realty, Ken Carlson (40% owner of Jet Blue) is creating a complete web based real estate company that will put many brick and mortar companies out of business. He’s added to it a residual income stream for those who recruit agents. Do you think he’ll be able to add 50,000 agents in 18 months?

Real Estate marketing was always about networking. Nothing new under the sun. The system presented looks good, especially for Ken Carlson, not so for your average real estate broker.
Why does it start shortly after when some 2 million houses are heading toward foreclosure? Makes you wonder.

I have been a Mortgage Loan Officer for 7 years now. I think this idea is ingenious. I think 50k agents in 18 months in quite attainable. I would be interested in more information.
